Nippon Auto Spares Ltd is dedicated to providing the safest customer service possible, fully compliant with:

Standard UK delivery time is between 1 and 2 working days. Deliveries to other parts of the country may vary by up to 7 days. Overseas orders may take considerably longer. We cannot be held responsible for unforeseen delays by the courier, for example: adverse weather.


Some Nippon Auto Spares stock is sold on an exchange basis. You are charged a surcharge at the point of purchase equal to that which it would cost to purchase a replacement “core” unit if your exchange is not returned to us.

This surcharge will be refunded to you minus the collection fee of the unit, unless you arrange a courier to return the unit to us of your own accord. If you do choose to return the unit without us having to arrange the courier for you then you will be entitled to a refund of the full surcharge amount.

All exchange units must be returned to us in a serviceable state. All major components must be present and in serviceable 
form including:

  • Cylinder head (complete with cams, valves, tappets and cam carriers)
  • Engine block (complete with connecting rods, pistons, main bearing caps)
  • Crankshaft
  • The unit must be assembled

Any unit returned to us incomplete or not assembled then reasonable expenses will be deducted from the surcharge on the

Eligible surcharge refunds will be made within 7 days of the unit being returned to our premises.


Unless otherwise stated, engines or parts come with a 3 month guarantee (as long as your vehicle is running standard). Unless otherwise stated the engine that you are purchasing consists of an engine only, with no other ancillaries. To clarify, this means no alternator, starter motor, turbos, manifolds, ECU wiring looms, bolt on bits etc. An engine consists of a block and head with all internals.


The following only applies if you are a consumer AND purchasing goods and/or services by mail order or from our website. 

In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you may cancel a contract at any time within 7 working days, beginning on the day after you receive the goods (the “cooling off period”). If you want to cancel the contract within this cooling-off period, a refund (or an exchange or replacement if required) will be provided once the part(s) have been returned back to us (at your own cost ). The parts will be inspected by ourselves before any refund is processed to verify it is our part that has been returned and that the part hasn't been damaged in anyway whilst in your possession.

 To cancel a contract, you must:

2) Return the goods to us, in the same condition in which you received them with the original packaging and the product documentation, and at your own cost and risk. The goods must not have been used. If the item has been fitted or damaged then there will be no refund available. 

Nothing in this clause affects your statutory rights.
